Research Topics

Change micro-processes in psychotherapy:
Mutual implicit and explicit affective regulation between patient and therapist, and its manifestation through verbal and non verbal behavior within moments of rupture and resolutions of the therapeutic Alliance.
Changeepisodes and content of therapeutic change from patients', therapists' and observers' perspectives.
Measurement of the Therapeutic Alliance in change and stuck session episodes, from different perspectives and its evolution throughout the therapeutic process.

2008-2011 Participation as Doctoral student in FONDECYT funded project 1080136: "Therapeutic Interaction, expression of emotions and therapeutic alliance: Study of the essential ingredients for change in psychotherapy" Santiago, Chile.

2006-2007 Participation as Master student in FONDECYT funded project 1060768: "Facilitating change in psychotherapy: effective and ineffective communicative interactions in different psychotherapeutic modalities". Santiago, Chile.
